Quick Note

I just spoke to Richards nurse who told me he is doing good. She said he has had appropriate conversation tonight using his whole mouth. Also, he told her twice he had to use the bathroom. I know that might sound funny to everyone but he hasnt been able to know when he needs to go since the accident. His brain is remembering that now. They did not take out his trach today. Christie's nurse was busy so no update for her. :( Sorry
One more thing about the fundraiser. There is actually two of them. One this Sunday (at the horse Ranch) and one the following Saturday (however Im not sure if the second one is open to the public because its a police SWAT competition. I'll get back to you on that one). The organizer of these events needs lots of baked goods to sell at the table. If anyone is interested in baking or buying small sellable items (slim jims, granola bars, etc) please leave a comment with your number so that the organizer can contact you. Also, they are doing a raffle on Sunday for various things donated from community businesses. If anyone has any input on that leave your number as well.
